Valorant is a free-to-play first-person hero shooter developed and published by Riot Games that has gained a lot of popularity in the modern gaming world. The game features interesting mechanics that are mainly represented by Agents.
The Agents are the playable characters in the game and you can choose from one of four different roles: Sentinel, Duelist, Initiator or Controller. The abilities they have provide many interesting ways to play and should offer a variety of playstyles.
19 Agents are currently in the game, with new ones being released regularly. The newest one to join the club is Neon, who’s available on major updates.
If you want to wage the battles in Neon yourself, you’ll first need to unlock all of the agents. This is what this article is all about.
When you initially start the game, 5 agents (Brimstone, Jett, Phoenix, Sage, and Sova) will be yours to use for free. After playing the game for some time and reaching levels 5 and 10 you’ll unlock 2 additional agents FOR FREE.
The others, you can unlock in 2 ways: by grinding for them or quickly buying them.
Getting Them For Free
The primary way to unlock new agents is through completing contracts. Each contract consists of 10 stages, all of which require some experience to complete.
To unlock a character, you only need to reach stage 5. A contract’s total cost is 975 000 XP but it also gives 200 000 free XP. The fastest way to make XP is by completing the daily and weekly missions.

Go to the Agents tab.
