Game of Thrones Conquest is a great game for anyone new to these types of games. And with the right tips, you’ll be able to overtake every other player in no time!
In Conquest, you have plenty of dragons too. No Game of Thrones would be complete without them.
Game of Thrones, the much-beloved book series and TV show, that sparked everybody’s interest (until the much disappointing final season at least) lets us experience Westeros in all its glory, by building our own empire and trying to conquer the Iron Throne.
Players can customise their reptilian flying base destroyers and use them in the game, guided by Daenerys and Jon Snow. Although they do not feature heavily in the narrative, we think they are interesting to play with.
If you want to increase your strength quickly in Game of Thrones Conquest, then it’s going to require a lot of dedication and commitment. Check out this tips and tricks guide for more information!
Let's Dive Into It!
Organise Your Base
The game might not seem that strategic at first glance, but you do have limited resources. You’ll have to make plans carefully in order to spend your resources wisely.
Keep your troop numbers down to a manageable level, because you’re never going to know if an incoming attack is powerful enough to require more fighters. Save the rest for raising up your defences and responding appropriately.
Upgrade Your Storehouse
One thing good Game of Thrones players know is that you need to build up your Storehead because enemies in your area won’t be able to raid it. So make sure you keep it safe and as stocked up as possible.
Whether you want to advance by actively battling opponents and monsters or AFK farming and upgrading, always be sure to keep an eye on your storehouse.
Build as Much as You Can
It’s a good idea to upgrade your buildings now, while you have the chance. Once you level up your Keep, you won’t be able to do it anymore.
Whenever you upgrade your Keep, you unlock maxs for other buildings, which means you’ll have the potential to do even more and better upgrades.
Resource farms are a great way to passively produce resources for your kingdom. Make sure you build the maximum number and then make incremental upgrades one by one.
To get the most out of this course, we recommend that you complete all the shorter lessons, and leave some of the more time consuming ones for taking breaks.
If you’re looking to upgrade faster, it’s a good idea to start researching your construction speed. Keep in mind that yields higher initial costs but provides more gold and the limits on upgrading time are reduced once your upgrades begin.
Research
The first thing you should do is Research Logistics – Bureaucracy. Taking economy as your starting point can be a good idea and there are many other paths to explore.
However, if you’re looking for quick action, then Forced March and Pack Mule are the abilities you should choose. It’s purely a matter of personal preference, so pick the one that suits your play style best.
Something else I’d like to mention is that you should always have something researching. Each time, before closing the game for longer periods of time, you should start researching something that takes quite a long time. That way you can advance at a decent pace without having to worry about your level going down.
Troops
Troops are very important in the game, so much that they will be your main unit. Make sure to always have the best trained troops (since they will be your first defense) and to keep a close eye on them when they’re training, so you can make sure they’re getting stronger!
So, our GoT Tactics tip 5 would be: Train your best troops to make sure they are just that much better on the battlefield. Stats for these troops are noticeably higher and you should use them whenever possible.
Join Allegiance
Players that join an alliance are often able to play alongside other players and share in the benefits. Gifts of all sorts are given to members, so it’s worth joining one if you want to give more.
One of the most difficult aspects of starting a new game is picking a faction – and as is often the case, you don’t always get to find a good one right away. In that case, it’s best to just pick one for awhile and switch later when you’re strong enough
Avoid creating your own guild of players, it’s easy to jump on board with an already-existing guild since they’re already well established and strong.
Feed your Dragon
Your Dragon will provide a lot of stats and much more, so make sure that you feed it every day as much as possible (ideally 8 times maximum). This will make it level up faster and you’ll be able to obtain passive training points.
These will help you progress a lot in power, so if you’re playing as a f2p player, it’s worth your time to try them out.
Invest your Gold in Peace Shields
If you want to prevent losing resources, then protect your city with peace shields. Once one of the peace shields expires, buy a new one and continue using them for as long as you are able to (or until you can afford to try defending).
Many players are conspiring to attack bases that they think can’t defend themselves, so it would be a good idea to try and keep your base protected.
