If you are a science nerd you will absolutely love this game. Start as a student in the research laboratory and grow a colony of stem cells. Keep them fed and happy and expand your lab space.
In this article we will show you some useful tricks to help you grow as many cells as possible, build a modern lab and equip your space. Most importantly we will help you progress in your career and become a professor of science. So let’s get started!
Grow a Dish of Healthy Cells
You are on your first day at work and of course you need some guidance. The game will show you the first steps of growing your colony.
At the beginning of the game you are gifted a batch of cells that you need to look after and grow. The main things you need to worry about are happiness of your colony and feed.
The cells will grow if they have food. So you need to provide them with medium and keep a close eye on the color of the medium. Meaning if the medium is fresh and red the cells are fed and if it loses color to white it means they are hungry and need more food.
The developers created cute little faces on the cells so it will be easy to see how they are doing and are they happy. The expressions on their faces will tell you if they are happy or sad.
Cells like to be in a company so by putting a scientist in the lab the happiness of your colony rises. So make sure they are not left alone.
Always Have a Stash of Medium
If you have a scientist working constantly in the lab, the cells will gradually produce medium for you so you always have some quantity on hand. If the dish empties, it will take as much as whole supply to feed them again.
Whatever you do make sure you don’t run out of medium. You don’t want your cells to die.
Do Your Research Projects
Experience is required to add more rooms and gadgets to your lab. So you need to collect experience points. Start doing your homework and complete projects that are available in the tight bottom corner.
A project can be based on growing a certain number of cells or splitting the dishes. These completed projects will open opportunities for buying equipment and expanding your lab. No matter the tasks in projects, they are usually easy to fulfill.
Expand Your Colony and Split the Dishes
One hundred of cells maximum can grow in one dish. If the numbers are higher you will have to split the colony. Cells don’t like to be crowded in small space and this will affect their happiness. So make sure you split the dishes in the right time.
There is also another option for crowded cells. You can freeze them. This is how you will save that amount of cells and it can come in handy later in the game.
Buy the Cells if You Need Extra Amount
You can spend your experience points on buying cells. They will be delivered to you in the lab. Depending on the suppliers, the needed experience points are different. Of course, if you choose more expensive supplier, the cells you get are better in quality.
Upgrading the Lab
If you save some experience points on the side, you can spend them on lab equipment. You will benefit from expanding and upgrading your lab. The medium will be easier and faster to make. Also, take care of your scientists. They need breaks, so offer them some gadgets and coffee machines in the canteen.
Hire More Experts
Make ads and invite new staff to work in your lab. This is an expensive step, but pays off. The more you grow your cells you will need more people taking care of them.
Become a Professor
Organize a group of scientists so no one gets tired. That’s how you will always have someone to keep a close eye on your growing cell colonies. Make sure the cells are happy and fed and upgrade your working space. Continue to complete projects and you will become an ultimate professor.
